Please arrive for your session just a few minutes early and wait outside until the instructor lets you in. This is to minimise the amount of people in the studio at one time. We have marked out a box around each Power Plate so every client will have plenty of space and their own workout zone.
Whenever possible please arrive and leave in your gym gear, this is so we can minimise the use of the changing room.
When you enter the studio please wash your hands and use the hand sanitiser provided, both before and after your session.
For the time-being, the shower facilities will be out of action. We will open them up again as soon as it is safe to do so.
There is now a 15 minute gap between each session to allow enough time to clean all the equipment so we will aim to let you all in a few minutes before your session is due to start and ask that you leave promptly after your session has ended, again, just to minimise the amount of people in the studio at one time. We have enough square footage to meet the government guidelines for up to 6 people in the studio at one time.
The air-conditioner will be running throughout sessions to aid in ventilation. The air drawn in is from outside and is not recirculated.
If you own a yoga mat and want to bring it with you you can. We will only use these when we need to.
We have had to make some changes to both the amount of sessions and types of sessions we are currently offering. All these changes can be seen on Team Up or by heading to our TIMETABLE page.
All sessions will be limited to 4 people in phase one. This is to give you all as much space as possible around you in sessions, and meets government guidelines for space per person, both in social distancing and ventilation. This will also be under constant review, we can reduce it or up it (to no more than 5) as things progress.
Payments and Memberships
For the foreseeable future we will only be accepting online and card payments, contactless is preferable where possible. We will no longer accept cash payments until further notice.
As always, and especially now space is a little tighter, please make sure you are cancelling sessions that you know you wont be able to attend (the 12 hour cancellation policy is still in place and will still apply) We want to make sure everyone gets a chance to attend so please keep on top of your bookings!
It’s really important that you login to your TeamUp account and make sure your contact details are up to date. We need to make sure we have details for everyone, just in case we need to contact anyone about track and trace.
If you develop any signs of Coronavirus, a high temperature, a persistent cough or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste, then please do not attend the studio and follow government advice.
Face masks do not need to be worn in the studio, as per government guidelines – ‘All forms of face coverings may restrict breathing efficiency and should not be used during exercise except on specific advice from a physician.’
We are requesting that for the time being you do not bring your children or anyone with you who isn’t taking part in a session. This is to make sure we have enough room to accommodate everyone who is taking part.
All of these changes have been carefully considered and are inline with the government’s Providers of grassroots sport and gym/leisure facilities document. They are in place to keep all our clients and trainers safe whilst they work out. We will be keeping our eyes on everything in the coming months, so should we need to change anything we will. If you would like to share your thoughts we are happy to listen, we want to make things the best we can whilst meeting all the requirements needed for safe training.
Stay safe guys, and we are excited to see you all soon.
